Backcountry Pizza

Pizza in backcounty after a long day hiking or canoing is a true treat. This is one of my favorite meals to cook with my outback oven. Outback oven can be purchased from our store.

Ingredients:
  • 2/3 cup warm water
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 pack active dry yeast (11 ml)
  • ½ tsp salt

Cooking Instructions:
Mix dry ingredients well, add oil and warm water, knead for five minutes. Stretch into pan, let rise somewhere warm for 5 to 15 minutes. Add your favorite toppings and bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
